The sliding door on the side of the van leaks.  I woke up to a wet mattress and pillow.  It turns out that Ducato’s have a common fault on the door and the quick fix is to remove the top door latch.

I ordered a new one from a seller on ebay for £27 and fitted it yesterday.  Problem solved luckily.  the door does stick now so I have  a bit of jiggling to do no doubt.

[Update]  You wouldn’t believe this. I have just been hit by a thunderstorm and the door leaked again.  No where near as bad as before but still too much to tolerate.  Back to the drawing board….
